About Us

Teresa Hyde

With 33 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, I have dedicated my career to supporting the health and well-being of others through compassionate, evidence-informed care. Alongside my nursing background, I am a Certified Somatic Coach.

My approach is informed not only by professional training but also by lived experience. I have navigated the effects of childhood trauma, secondary trauma from working in healthcare, and other life challenges. Through somatic body awareness and nervous system regulation practices, I found greater healing, balance, and a renewed sense of safety and connection within myself.

Today, I combine my decades of clinical experience with somatic coaching to support others on their own healing journeys. I believe the body holds incredible wisdom, and with the right guidance and practices, it is possible to move beyond survival patterns toward greater regulation, resilience, and well-being. My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate space where clients can reconnect with their bodies and cultivate lasting change by working with—not against—their nervous systems.

Kaare Hyde

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the State of California as well as a credentialed Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts for substance use disorders in a clinical setting. My practice is informed by working with trauma affected adults and youth, justice-involved population, and community members with severe mental illness and substance use issues.

You've been struggling, suffering, and stuck long enough! Let me help you work through the anxiety, trauma, negative thinking, same old behavior, and any troubling sensations in the body that are holding you back from living your best life.

I provide a warm, client-centered, trauma-informed approach while valuing you uniquely as an individual. Not a one size fits all approach.

Together we'll use parts of different treatments or a specific protocol of treatment that is tailored specifically to your needs.

In our first session we'll laugh a little, get to know each other and see if we fit. After discussing goals and desired outcomes, you'll know just what to expect from therapy. It's not all about hard work, it's also about getting your life back, learning to laugh again, and being comfortable as your genuine self. No apologies.
